2pc Wedgwood Transfer-Printed Earthenware Vessels, Ferrara Pattern - This matching pair of transfer-printed earthenware vessels consists of a small teapot with a lid and a cream jug. Both pieces are decorated in a monochrome brown harbor scene known as the Ferrara pattern, which is attributed to Wedgwood. The decoration depicts various sailing vessels in a port with a city skyline, towers, and a multi-arched bridge in the background. The rim, base, handle, and lid are accented with a repeating floral and foliate border. Each vessel is designed with a bulbous body on a pedestal foot and a scrolling handle. The bases of both items feature Wedgwood impressed mark along with circular silver labels for the Rubin Collection. Additionally, the cream jug bears a white rectangular sticker from Skinner auctions with the handwritten number 235C and Lot 15, while the teapot has a yellow inventory label.
