Vintage Redware Blue Art Pottery Bud Vase - This blue art pottery vase with low relief work of flowers and red leaves is finished in a deep cobalt blue glaze on the exterior, while the interior and rim display a contrasting reddish-brown terracotta glaze. The body is decorated with hand-applied, raised floral motifs consisting of white-petaled blossoms with reddish centers flanked by stylized foliage. The unglazed terracotta underside bears an unrecognized backstamp in blue ink depicting two crenelated towers above a shield, with partial text reading RO and MEXICO.
