Royal Doulton by George White Porcelain Twin-Handle Vase, The Legend - A twin-handled porcelain vase in an amphora form, featuring hand-painted figurative and still life scenes by artist George White. The primary face depicts an elderly bearded man playing a lyre accompanied by a young girl in an ethereal landscape setting. The reverse displays a still life arrangement featuring a gilded pitcher and pink roses on a blue cloth. The piece includes two scrolling gilded handles with beaded accents and a flared rim with gilded interior bands. It stands on a spreading circular pedestal base decorated with ornate gilt scrollwork and raised beading. Signed George White on the side. Underside marked Royal Doulton.
