Moorcroft Pottery by Philip Gibson Table Lamp, Trout - The ovoid ceramic body is decorated using the tube-lining technique, featuring a large leaping trout among stylized aquatic foliage, reeds, waves, and a dragonfly. The design is executed in a palette of variegated blues, greens, ochres, and terracotta glazes. The ceramic body is mounted on a stepped circular wooden base with a dark finish. Hardware includes a brass neck and a brass bayonet-style (B22) light socket with an integrated black plastic switch. The lamp is sold without a shade and is untested.7”W x 14”H5 lbs.
