Moorcroft Pottery by Kerry Goodwin Centennial Vase, Australian Orchid - Featuring stylized floral motifs in shades of cobalt and indigo blue on a cream ground, the piece is executed using hand applied tube lining, a technique in which raised clay slip outlines are filled with colored glazes. The form is a tall, slender bud vase with a flared rim and a stepped flared base. The underside bears an arched Moorcroft stamp, along with a commemorative kiln mark dated 1913 to 2013, identifying it as a centenary piece. Signed by Kerry Goodwin.
