Wedgwood Pale Green Jasperware Lidded Campagna Urn - A Wedgwood pale green jasperware lidded urn of campana form. The monochromatic vessel features relief-molded Neoclassical scenes applied to the body in the same pale green tone as the ground. These sprigged decorations depict various classical female figures and a central putto figure positioned upon a pedestal. The urn is further embellished with traditional decorative borders, including gadrooning along the flared rim and foot, a laurel leaf wreath on the shoulder, and upright acanthus leaves around the lower body. The vessel is flanked by two scroll-form handles with foliate terminals and is supported by a circular pedestal foot joined to the body with a metal bolt and nut assembly. The matching domed lid is topped with a pointed bud-form finial and features radiating leaf motifs. The underside of the base is stamped Wedgwood.
