2pc Wedgwood Black and White Jasperware Cup and Saucer - A two-piece Wedgwood jasperware set comprising a tea cup and a saucer. The set is crafted in black dip jasperware, featuring a matte black surface with applied white relief sprigged neoclassical ornamentation. The saucer is decorated with a wide radial border of acanthus leaves and a central laurel leaf band. The cup features central oval medallions depicting classical figures, flanked by large scrolling foliate motifs, and is finished with laurel and acanthus leaf borders. The interior of the cup is white-glazed. The saucer base bears the impressed mark WEDGWOOD in all capital letters and an incised crescent-shaped mark.
