Large Wedgwood Pearlware Jug - A large Wedgwood pearlware jug from England, dating to the late 18th century. The jug features a lobed, fluted, and pear-shaped body decorated with hand-painted polychrome enamel floral panels to either side in shades of pink, orange, and purple. The rim is finished with a blue feather-edge design, and the high-arched handle is detailed with blue horizontal stripes. One side prominently features a purple script monogram, JP, within a blue laurel wreath tied with a bow. The base is stamped with the impressed factory mark WEDGWOOD. The underside retains several provenance labels, including those for the Nollman Rubin Collection, the Earl Buckman Wedgwood collection, and a Skinner auction label.
