Decoration includes pate-sur-pate floral blossoms against a textured honeycomb or lattice ground, flanked by incised acanthus leaf motifs. The palette consists of cobalt blue, buff, and brown tones. The underside bears the Doulton Lambeth impressed stamp, Eliza Simmance's monogram marking, and the ink stamp that reads ”Art Union of London”.
