Royal Doulton by Mark V. Marshall Stoneware Bird Motif Bowl - A stoneware footed bowl decorated by artist Mark V. Marshall. The interior features a central medallion depicting a white bird against a cobalt blue ground, encircled by a broad sage green band. The outer border contains alternating panels of stylized brown-petaled flowers on blue and white foliate scrolls on a light gray-blue ground. The bowl is finished with a thick rolled rim and a mottled dark brown to black metallic exterior glaze. The underside bears the Royal Doulton impressed stamp, and M.V.M. for Mark V. Marshall.
