Doulton Lambeth by Florence Barlow and Emily Stomer Stoneware Vase, Budgerigar - Featuring two oval reserves decorated with pairs of pate-sur-pate budgerigars perched on branches against a textured buff ground. Each reserve is bordered by a double row of raised white slip-trailed jewel beading. The trumpet-form body and pedestal base are further ornamented with tube-lined foliate and floral motifs in relief, finished in cobalt blue, slate blue, and ochre glazes. The interior neck and underside are finished in a deep cobalt glaze. The underside bears the Doulton Lambeth impressed stamp, and Florence Barlow's and Emily Stomer's markings. Dimensions: See Desc.
