Royal Doulton Porcelain Prototype Sculpture, King Charles I - A polychrome glazed ceramic portrait figurine of King Charles I. The figure is depicted in 17th-century attire, including a wide-brimmed black hat, lace-edged collar, green doublet and breeches, and a long brown cloak. The subject wears the star of the Order of the Garter on his left shoulder and a Lesser George medallion on a red ribbon. The figure is mounted on an integral white hexagonal base.
