Royal Doulton Burslem Charles Noke Vellum Water Carrier Figurine - Royal Doulton Burslem, circa 1891-1902. The Water Carrier figurine in ceramic with a matte vellum glaze, designed by Charles Noke. Large-scale figure of a woman in classical drapery standing on a rocky base, supporting a two-handled amphora on her shoulder. The palette consists of ivory, pink, and ochre tones with gilded accents to the vessel and base. Underside features the Doulton Burslem green backstamp and hand-painted Ra 2110 mark.
