This pair of Bunnykins figurines is inspired by William Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo and Juliet, one of his most popular plays, depicting the romance between two young Italians from feuding families. This lot features a prototype colorway exclusive. The Romeo figure is kneeling on a textured stony base, dressed in a red doublet with white trim, orange hose, a dark blue cape, and a black beret. The Juliet figure stands in a red gown with yellow front panels and trim, accented by a red circlet headpiece. Both are marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp.
