Chinese Carved Stone Snuff Bottle - A snuff bottle in carved stone with silver-tone metal mounts. The body features high-relief cameo carving that utilizes the natural red and yellow color layers of the material. One side depicts two figures in a boat near a shoreline with a pine tree and birds in flight, while the reverse shows a garden setting with figures and a bridge. The neck and base are fitted with silver-colored metal mounts decorated with repousse scrolling foliate and floral patterns. The stopper includes a silver-tone metal mount set with a domed red bead and an attached internal spoon.
