Chinese Polychrome Porcelain Eighteen Luohan Cong Vase - Chinese rectangular porcelain vase in the cong form, featuring hand-painted polychrome enamel decoration in a palette similar to famille rose. The four main panels depict a continuous narrative scene of the Eighteen Luohan crossing the sea, shown in dynamic poses with various traditional attributes amidst waves and clouds. A vertical blue calligraphy inscription on one panel reads Shi ba luo han tu, translating to Picture of the Eighteen Arhats. The neck and foot are decorated with stylized foliate, floral, and geometric patterns including a green key-fret rim and yellow-ground ruyi-head borders. The base features a blue painted square seal mark enclosed in a double-line border with four characters reading Qianlong Nian Zhi, translating to Made in the reign of Qianlong.
