James Deakin and Sons Victorian Silver-Plated Epergne - Late Victorian silver-plated epergne by James Deakin and Sons, Sheffield. The center flower stand features a scrolling wire-form frame mounted on a scalloped shield-shaped base supported by three large ball feet. The construction consists of a central elevated socket and three outer support rings, each containing a removable trumpet-shaped vase with a flared, scalloped rim. The underside of the base bears five impressed marks in rectangular cartouches, with the initials JD, EPNS, and an assay mark. An impressed pattern J1474 is present below the hallmarks.
