2pc Royal Doulton Ceramic Character Jugs - Two Royal Doulton glazed earthenware character jugs, including Captain Hook and Dick Turpin. The Captain Hook jug, model D6601, designed by Max Henk and introduced in 1964, is decorated in hand-painted polychrome underglaze, depicting the character with a blue and yellow tricorne hat and a green crocodile handle. The base bears the printed Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp with model and registration numbers. The Dick Turpin jug is decorated in hand-painted polychrome underglaze, depicting the highwayman in a brown and yellow tricorne hat and green coat. The base bears the printed Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp with the A mark, indicating manufacture at the Burslem factory between 1939 and 1955. Dimensions: 4”H Weight: 12.6 oz. Condition: Good
