Chinese Inside-Painted Glass Snuff Bottle - Chinese inside-painted (neihua) glass snuff bottle featuring a clear glass body and a domed dark reddish-brown glass or hardstone stopper. The obverse side is decorated with a stylized yellow and white puppy seated in a landscape with green bamboo. The reverse side depicts a traditional Chinese landscape with bamboo stalks and foliage rendered in black ink and grey washes. An inscription in black cursive Chinese characters is located on the obverse to the left of the puppy, though the signature is not legible as a name.
