Ice is a monumental mixed media artwork on wood by Post-Contemporary artist and filmmaker Greg Haberny who denounces American socio-political issues and the Immigration Customs and enforcement (ICE) practices. Haberny paints a cartoon character with the double-entendre of the chilled ice melting on its face, a barren tree and a word crossed out with drips, scratches, punches and cuts. Signature, title and date on verso: 2009, Ice, Greg Haberny and graffiti signs. Housed in a black wood frame. Artwork dimensions: 56.50"L x 48"H. Frame dimensions: 58.50"L x 49.50"H x 3.50"W.
