Oil on canvas of a serene seascape at sunrise or sunset depicted in this early painting. Craquelure throughout does not deflect from beauty of this rare work.
Identification and approximate value certificate attached to the back. Value was estimated at $5000,00 in 1985. Certificate is further supported by a note, also attached to the back of the frame, by Julia Brandt de Marquez Canizales, Federico Brandts daughter. Sight: 22" tall by 27.25". Framed: 29.75" tall by 35.5" wide and 2.75" deep. Wood and plaster frame hand painted in a double process brushed gold over red.
