Leah Price - Watercolor. This watercolor is done on Strathmore 400 Series 140lb. Watercolor paper. I will give a little Background on the chosen Image. I chose a Bee because the Bee has been said to be a very persistent, tenacious, and protective animal. They are also selfless, they will give their life to save a member of their own community. As such community plays such an important role in their existence. They do not do anything alone. They consistently work together for the same goal and help one another out each and every day. Many people in ancient times believed that when they saw a Honey Bee, that is represented their guardian angel, since in the bible bees had a heavy role especially in the Christian Faith. Bees play such an important role on this Earth yet they are so tiny. I will end with the fact that when I think of Life Choices and all that the organization does for others, with nothing expected in return. This is the exact motto of the Bee, like I said previously they will selflessly give their life to protect another member of their community.  The actual painting is 4.25 X 6.5in but the whole thing frame included is 16 X 16.
