Moshe Skaruto (1888-1944) was a talmid of R. Itzel Ponevezher and R. Meir Simcha Ha’Cohen of Dvinsk (Ohr Sameach) with whom he was particularly close. An distinguished Talmid Chochom he was a son in law of R. Moshe Mordechai Epstein Rosh Yeshivas Slabodka/Chevron. He served as a Maggid Shiur and Rav in Slabodka until he was murdered with his family in The Kovno Ghetto. 27.5 by 21 cm. Fine condition. Filing holes.  Opening bid $250
