NOVARDOK 1898.  Autograph postcard with blessings for Rosh HaShana and the upcoming new year by R. Yechiel Michel Ha’Levi Epstein, The Aruch HaShulchan. With additional autograph note by the wife of The Aruch HaShulchan, Rebbetzin Michlah (a sister of The Netziv). Written to R. Yosef Dovid Shachor the renowned Rav of Antopol.  R. Yechiel Michel Ha’Levi Epstein (1830-1908), was known as one of the great rabbinical leaders and Poskim of his era. In 1873, he was appointed as Rav of Novardok where he served with great distinction until his passing. His magnum opus Aruch HaShulchan was received with great acclaim and remains a classic Halachic sefer. It is unusual to find letters written by both the Aruch HaShulchan and The Rebbetzin! 9 by 14.2 cm. Fine condition. Professional restoration.  Opening bid $1500
