CHUMASH OHR HA’CHAIM HAKADOSH. BAMIDBAR SLAVITTA 1818. - Chumash Bamidbar with Rashi and the commentary of The Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh published by the renowned R. Moshe Schapira of Slavitta.  The Seforim of the Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh were received with almost unprecedented acclaim, particularly among Chassidim and Mekubalim. The CHIDA in Shem HaGedolim writes of the great esteem that the Ba’al Shem Tov had for the Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh. In a famous instance, R. Chaim Halberstam (Divrei Chaim) wrote, that an individual who does not believe that the commentary of the Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh was written with Ruach HaKodesh is to be considered a heretic. As is well-known seforim published by the renowned R. Moshe Schapira of Slavitta were favored for their accuracy, magnificent printing as well as the mystical and holy intentions of the printers.
