Yosef Attias undertook to publish a highly exacting and precise edition of Tanach free of errors. Together with Johann Leusden, he invested enormous efforts to produce an accurate and magnificent Tanach. In the introduction they write at length, how they proofread and compared the text to previous editions. They add that although some naysayers may mock their assurance that this edition is free of errors, they guarantee it and are prepared to put the sefer to test. It was warmly received and for generations was favored for its accuracy. Four title pages. Final two pages with charts of Haftoros according to various customs.  Attias press.
