Kollel Chibas Yersholayim Summoning the Rabbanut to a Din Torah. Yerusholayim 1919 - Polemic letter sent to the central Rabbanut office in response to a public notice issued by the Rabbanut that the Austrian/Galician Kollel had failed to appear at a Din-Torah to which they had been summoned. The writer, Yehuda Rubinstein, who was the secretary of the Kollel, denied the accusation and stated that they had responded to the original summons by writing that they would agree to participate in a particular form of Din-Torah known as “Zabla”. The Rabbinate had acknowledged the request and agreed to their rights in this matter. The public announcement by the Rabbanut was therefore unjustified and the Kollel was now calling the Rabbanut itself to a Din-Torah to settle this injustice. 20.5 by 27 cm. Excellent condition.
