Knesses Yisroel. Slabodka. Lot of 30 Journals. The Rav Ruderman Copy. Kovno 1937 - Lot of 30 Torah journals published by the famed Slabodka Yeshiva between the years 1937-1940. Includes many essays by the Roshei Yeshiva as well as students of the Yeshiva, including R. Yitzchok Issac Sher, R. Avrohom Grodzensky, R. Yechiel Yaakov Weinberg (Sridei Eish), R. Yitzchok Hutner, R. Mordechai Shulman, R. Yechezkel Borestein and many others. The Knesses Yisroel Slabodka Yeshiva was established in 1881 by the Alter of Slabodka, R. Nosson Tzvi Finkel (1849-1927). Under the leadership of both the Alter and the Rosh Yeshiva, R. Moshe Mordechai Epstein, it quickly became one of the most prestigious Yeshivos in Europe. Distinguished alumni include R. Aaron Kotler, R. Reuven Grozovsky, R. Yaakov Kamenetsky, R. Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman, R. Yitzchok Hutner and R. Elazar Shach. Of particular interest, are a number of journals printed in 1940, following the beginning of the Holocaust which are among the last Torah journals printed in Lithuania, and make mention of the ongoing Torah learning during those difficult times. With library stamp of R. Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman, Rosh Yeshivas Ner Yisroel of Baltimore and distinguished Talmid of the Slabodka Yeshiva. Total of 30 journals. Bound in one volume.
