FIRST EDITION BRESLAU 1866.  Novella on the weekly Torah Portions and Moadim authored by R. Noach of Karov.  In 1866, two variants of this sefer were printed. In the original edition, in Parshas Bereishis (page 7) the author writes referring to Misnagdim “”הנוטים מאחרי ה' ”וזה הבל וריק ודעת טפשות” (those who stray from the Almighty…… and this is nonsense and foolishness). The corrected version reads דעת קצת האומרים”  “אכן זה הדעת אינו על פי קבלת האר”י אמתיות שקיבל מפי אליהו (the few who maintain …  this concept is not accurate according to the true Kabbalistic teachings of The Arizal as received from Eliyahu). R. Noach of Karov (1794-1855) was a distinguished Talmid of The Chozeh of Lublin, R. Shmuel of Karov and R. Mendel of Kotzk. In 1810, he was appointed as Rav and later as Rebbe in Karov.
