CLASSICS. KLI YAKAR. FIRST EDITION. VENICE 1603. - Comprehensive commentary on Nevi’im Rishonim (Yehoshua, Shoftim, Shmuel and Melachim) authored by R. Shmuel Laniado. R. Shmuel Laniado (died 1605) lived in Tzfas where he was associated with The Arizal, The Bais Yosef, R. Chaim Vital and The RaMaK among others. Upon the recommendation of The Bais Yosef he was appointed as Rav of Aleppo where he served for a number of years. Subsequently, many of his descendants served as Rabbanim in Aleppo. His seforim on NaCH were warmly received and remain classics. He is sometimes referred to as “The Ba’al HaKeilm” after his seforim, Kli Yakar (Venice 1603), Kli Chemdah (Venice 1596) and Kli Paz (Venice 1647).  Stefansky classics 26. 1, 3-564 pages. 28.2 cm.
