R. Yosef Nechemya Kornitzer. Cracow 1930 - Autograph letter to the Rav of The Hague Holland, inquiring about the kashrus standards of a certain food produced under his supervision. R. Yosef Nechemya Kornitzer (1880-1933), was born in Cracow to R. Akiva Kornitzer, son-in-law and successor of R. Shimon Sofer, son of the Chasam Sofer and Rav of Cracow. In 1901, he married the daughter of R. Pinchos Chaim Klein, Rav of Selish, and was appointed Rosh Yeshiva there. After his father-in-law’s passing, he succeeded him as Rav of Selish. In 1925, he succeeded his father as Rov of Cracow. His novella and responsa were published in Bnei Brak by his son-in-law R. Shabse Frankel. 28.5 by 22 cm. Excellent condition. Opening bid $650
