Pulmus HaMussar. On the controversy of the Mussar Movement. Only Edition. Yerusholayim 1972. - Historic work on the Mussar movement founded by R. Yisroel Salanter, detailing the history of its proponents and detractors and their reasoning. The dispute surrounding the “Mussar Movement” was extremely fierce with most of the great Roshei Yeshiva of the time taking a stance. Authored by R. Dov Katz, a student of the Slabodka Yeshiva and author of the five-volume Tenu’os HaMussar. It is said that when the author consulted R. Yechezkel Sarna regarding the printing of this sefer, the latter encouraged the endeavor, saying that R. Dov should not leave anything out.
