Tashbatz First Edition. Amsterdam 1738 Gift from the Choisen Yeshuos - Halachic responsa authored by R. Shimon ben R Tzemach Duran (1391-1444), one of the great later Rishonim. Published from a manuscript that was hidden with his descendants for 320 years, this sefer is one the classic Halachic responsa of the Rishonim, quoted extensively by the Achronim. With inscription in Hebrew, signed by R. Shmuel Osher Lemel Meizlish, stating that he received the sefer as a gift from his grandfather R. Yitzchok Meizlish, who served as Rov in Kaminetz and authored the sefer Choisen Yeshuos (Novydwor 1808). R. Shmuel Osher Lemel Meizlish was born in Poland, and was a grandson of R. Binyomin Wolf Lowey, the esteemed Rov of Verbau and author of the sefer Sharei Torah. Vinograd Amsterdam 1490. Naftali Rofeh press. [12], 91, [1], 69, [1], 68, [1], [1], 101, [1] pages. 32 cm.
