The Kehilla of Furth along with its Yeshiva, were among the oldest and most distinguished in Ashkenaz. For generations they were led by eminent Rabbonim, including R. Meshulam Zalman Ha’Kohen (Bigdei Kehunah) and R. Yosef Steinhardt. At the end of the work is a small section titled Bris Melach, on the laws of Koshering written in Yiddish. Vinograd Furth 365.
