Chaim HaCohen of Aleppo. R. Chaim HaCohen (1585-1655), was a close talmid of R. Chaim Vital, who in turn was the primary talmid of the Arizal. He authored numerous seforim, including the Toras Chacham. He was extremely revered by The Chida who quotes him many times in his seforim with extremely unusual honorifics including the title ”קדוש עליון”.
