Elazar Rokeach (1685-1742) known as The Ma’aseh Rokeach served as Rav in Brod and later Amsterdam. He was well-known as great Talmid Chochom and Mekubal and was greatly revered. Great grandfather of R. Sholom Rokeach of Belz (Sar Shalom). R. Aaron of Belz related in the name of his father R. Yissachar Dov of Belz that learning this sefer is a Segulah for Simcha (happiness).
