Tel Aviv 1930. - Passover Haggadah with illustrations by Nochum Gutman, with a beautifully designed wood and leather binding in Betzalel style. The R. Mendel Kasher copy, with his signature. R. Menachem Mendel Kasher (1895-1984), was known as a child prodigy, who from a young age corresponded with the great Gedolim of his time including the Rogatchover Gaon, the Kli Chemdah, R. Menachem Ziemba, R. Elchonon Wasserman and the Chazon Ish. In 1924, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel at the behest of the Imrei Emes, where he established and headed the Sfas Emes Yeshiva. He was the editor of countless works including his magnum opus, Torah Shleima, the Noam journals, the writings of the Rogatchover, a work on the Haggadah and a work on the dateline among others.
