He was born in Kelm where his father served as Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Ohr Torah. He learned in Telz where he was outstanding talmid of R. Yosef Leib Bloch and R. Chaim Rabinowitz (Telzer). He immigrated to London, and later was among the first members of Gateshead Kollel. He subsequently began saying Shiurim in Gateshead Yeshiva and was later appointed as Rosh Yeshiva. Known as a tremendous lamdan, he taught generations of Talmidim. Father-in-law of R. Avrohom Gurvitz, Rosh Yeshivas Gateshead. This first edition was printed on three standards of paper, this copy is printed on the highest quality paper. Worn from use, this sefer evidences R. Leib’s “Ameilus BaTorah”.
