Volume of the original “Vilna Shas” tractate Sanhedrin with stamps and inscriptions of the famed “Gaon Kloiz” in Vilna. In 1768 the Gaon’s relative R. Eliyahu Peseles bought a house in Vilna and established a permanent minyan for the Gaon and his talmidim. After the petirah of the Gaon in 1797, it was decided to convert the minyan into a Kloiz. The Gaon’s Kloiz was one of the most prominent and venerated minyanim in Vilna. Among many other outstanding personalities, R.
