Aharon Broida. Written as a brief synopsis of Shulchan Aruch, with “simanim” as an aid to memorize and recall basic Halachah. Contains approbations of many of the leading Lithuanian Rabbinical figures of the time, including The Chayei Adam and R. Abba’le of Vilna. R. Yehoshua of Ostrova (1819-1873), was a son of R. Shlomo Leib of Lentshna and disciple of R. Meachem Mendel of Kotzk R. Yisroel of Ruzhin, R. Yitzchok of Vorak and the Sar Shalom of Belz. He was one of the most prominent Tzadikim In Poland.  He authored Toldot Adam (Józefów 1875). His only daughter married the first rebbe of Biala. With four separate title pages.
