Pinchos Ha’Levy Horowitz (1730- 1805), was one of the most prominent disciples of the Maggid of Mezritch. He served as Rav in various communities including Vitkova, Lechowitz and most notably Frankfurt. He was renowned as a great Rav and Posek as well as a prolific writer and is often referred to as “The Haflo’ah” after his work on Maseches Kesubos.
