Chizkiyahu Mishkovsky.1942. ר’ מאיר קרליץ/ ר’ חזקיהו משקובסקי. תש”ב (1942). - Signed letter written to the administration of Yeshivas Porat Yosef regarding distribution of funds raised by the Va’ad Ha’Yeshivos through the efforts of the Chief Rabbi R. Yitzchok Issac Ha’Levy Herzog. R. Meir Karelitz (1875-1955) was the older brother of the Chazon Ish and one of the leading Rabbonim of the Orthodox community in Erets Yisroel. R. Chizkiyahu Mishkovsky (1884-1946) was one of the great rabbinical leaders in prewar Lithuania. He was actively involved in many communal matters including the Va’ad Ha’Yeshivos where he worked closely with R. Chaim Ozer Grodensky. Following the Holocaust he was one of the main rabbinical leaders of the Va’ad Hatzala. Excellent condition. 21.5 by 28 cm. Opening bid $150
