Chaim Friedlander whilst they were both students of the Ponevezh yeshiva, addressed to the editors of the Ha’Tvunah Torah Journal requesting copies. R. Mordechai Shloime (Shlomke) Berman (1930-2005) was considered among the most distinguished early students of the Ponevezh Yeshiva and enjoyed a close relationship with the Chazon Ish who suggested him as a match for his niece, the daughter of R. Yisroel Yaakov Kanievsky (the Steipler). At A young age he was appointed A Rosh Yeshiva of the Ponevezh Yeshiva. He authored the sefer Asher L’ShloImeh on various tractates of Shas. R. Chaim Friedlander (1923-1986) studied at the Ponevezh Yeshiva and enjoyed a close relationship with the Mashgiach, R. Eliyahu Eliezer Dessler. In the 1970s he was appointed a Mashgiach of the Ponevezh Yeshiva. 12.5×8.5 cm. Good condition. Opening bid $200
