• Broadside announcing the passing and levayo of R. Menachem Nochum of Rachmistrivka 1936.
R. Menachem Nochum Twersky (1840-1936) was a son of R. Yochanan of Rachmistrivka whom he succeeded as Rebbe. In 1924 he immigrated to Yerusholayim where he led the Rachmistrivka Chasidim in Erets Yisroel.
63 by 48 cm. Fine condition.
• Poster announcing the arrival of R. Zev Twersky of Rachmistrivka. 1930’s.
In the mid 1930’s R. Zev Twersky of Rachmistrivka was able to escape Soviet Russia and immigrate to Erets Yisroel. Father in law of R. Chaim Meir Hager of Vizhnitz (Imrei Chaim).
