Simcha Bunim of Peshisca (1765-1827) was a central figure in the Chassidic movement. In his youth, he studied in Mattersdorf and Nikolsburg. After being introduced to the world of Chassidus he became a Chossid of the Kozhnitzer Maggid, the Chozeh of Lublin and the Yid Ha’Kodosh of Peshisca. Following the passing of the Yid Ha’Kodosh, he became the Rebbe of most of the Peshisca Chasidim. The final page of the sefer contains a cryptic letter by R.
