ATERES YISROEL. WITH A RARE UNRECORDED TITLE PAGE! ZHITOMIR 1867. - Novella on the weekly Torah portions by R. Yisroel, Maggid of Bogopol. R. Yisroel of Bogopol was grandson of R. Nochum of Chernobyl (Meor Einayim). He was a brother in law and talmid of R. Sholom Shachna of Prohobisht (father of R. Yisroel of Ruzhin). With approbations of R. Aaron of Chernobyl who extols the author and warmly blesses all those who purchase the sefer. This copy has an extra unrecorded title page. Curiously the extra title page has the name of the sefer as Ateres Tiferes Yisroel not Tiferes Yisroel. Indeed, in his approbation R.
