It is alleged that sections of the Zayis Ra’anan may have been deliberately “changed” in the Warsaw edition (1876) by Shimon Chonos (author of the Toldos HaPoskim). Avrohom Abele HaLevi Gombiner (1637-1682), was one of the most prominent Achronim. He is primarily known for his magnum opus, his commentary on the Shulchan Oruch, Magen Avrohom.
