CLASSICS. SHIBOLEI HALEKET. FIRST EDITION. VENICE 1546. - Literally translated as the “The Gathered Sheaves”, the Shibolei HaLeket is a Halachic compilation by R. Tzidkiya ben R. Avrohom Anav. The author cites earlier works, and then after a brief discussion, states his own position. Quoted extensively by R. Yosef Karo in Shulchan Aruch, the Shibolei HaLeket has a direct influence on practical Halacha. R. Tzidkiya ben R. Avrohom (1225-1297), was one of many distinguished scholars from the well-known Anav family. The Anav family (Heb.
