Yaakov Halperin emigrated from Poland to Italy and was a student of MaHaRaM Padua and R. Avigdor of Venice. With a rare approbation from the SHLoH dated Venice 1621 which was written while the SHLoH was travelling to Eretz Yisroel. The SHLoH writes “It is appropriate and a Mitzvah to print … a fulfillment of “the land will be filled with knowledge and those who see it shall purchase it”. Vinograd Padua 20.
