Manuscript of a Kabbalistic commentary to Parshas Vayishlach (unsigned) by R. Yaakov Chaim Sofer, the Kaf HaChaim.
R. Yaakov Chaim Sofer (1870-1939), was born in Baghdad, and learned under R. Ovadia Somech and R. Yosef Chaim (The Ben Ish Chai). Renowned as a great Talmid Chochom and Mekubal, he is most famous for his series of Halacha seforim titled Kaf HaChaim. He studied Kabbalah together with R. Yehuda Pitaya. In Kaf HaChaim, he includes many customs that follow the Kabbalistic tradition.
